National Weather Service investigators are trying to determine the strength of a tornado that touched down near Center Township’s Unionville neighborhood in Butler County during Wednesday’s storms and are looking into the possibility that two more twisters touched down in the region.

Trees were down, bricks from the shed were scattered, and the roof was completely destroyed. This tornado is the seventh confirmed in the area this year, which includes parts of West Virginia and Ohio. McMullen says the area typically averages six.
