“For an unknown reason he stops, he turns, he makes multiple intentional moves like he has a firearm and charges our police officer in a full sprint from approximately 20 feet away,” NYPD Chief of Department John Chell said at an early morning news conference at the scene.

The NYPD is searching for a suspect involved in a shooting on Staten Island. A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
