A suspect is in custody after slamming into several cars in Manhattan, including two police cars. It started at around 5:30 a.m. when police responded to a collision on Park Avenue between 49th and 50th Streets. Responding officers told the driver to pull over, but the driver took off.

According to officials, a 45-year-old man did not follow instruction to police intervention then collided with the police vehicle and kept going. The driver then collided with other vehicles ending on East 50th Street and Lexington Avenue. The man was taken into custody and taken back to midtown north precinct. There were no injuries reported.
