The Mets are still riding the "Grimace effect" into Game 3 of the NLDS, with the city decorating one of the subway lines with Grimace decals and the McDonald's character making a surprise appearance.
The decals will remain up for two to three weeks as the city prepares for a rare ticker-tape parade. The parade, free and open to the public, will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in Lower Manhattan.
