At Montgomery Ridge Intermediate School, 68% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 68% scored at or above that level for reading.

Montgomery Ridge Intermediate School seventh graders proved their determination and generosity over the past month, earning more than $11,068.63 to make the holidays brighter for others.

Hundreds of students from Montgomery Ridge Intermediate School headed out Wednesday and Thursday morning to eight sites for SERVE (Students Engaged in Rewarding Volunteer Experiences).

The 7th graders raised money by doing extra chores or picking up odd jobs, buying toys for kids in need in rural Appalachia.
