A former Met Police officer has been found guilty of assault, but acquitted of rape. Jorden Brown, who resigned from the force before his trial, was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 3 June last year.

A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with a number of sex offences including four rapes. PC Dion Arnold was arrested by Surrey Police following a report made earlier this year. Arnold is charged with four counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration and one count of sexual assault on March 31, the Met Police said.

A former police officer has appeared in court charged with rape and of kidnapping a woman. Paul Brown, of Storksbill Road in Corby, is accused of rape between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2024, and of committing the kidnap offence last week.
