MassMutual also expects to close its Enfield, Connecticut office and shift the 1,600 employees who work there to the company’s Springfield headquarters, said James Lacey, a MassMutual spokesperson.

The Enfield office, at 100 Bright Meadow Blvd., has about 2,000 workers, so if the 1 percent figure were applied across the board, that would mean about 20 people.
