To change a black background to white in Microsoft Word, open Word, go to the Design tab, and select Page Color. Now, from the dropdown, select the White color.

There's nothing wrong with a white background, but Microsoft Word lets you change the color of a document's background. You can even use a picture, but don't get carried away.

Also, if your background is black due to System Settings, you can. Once you’ve made the changes, Microsoft Word should now return to having a white background with black text, just like normal.
