MaineCare is Maine’s largest health insurance program, and it includes Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program. It is jointly funded by the federal and state government.
If the state would increase MaineCare reimbursement more providers might sign on to help patients in need. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, I treat patients in the hospital and private practice.
