Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has a chance to accomplish a feat last done by Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O'Neal during the NBA Finals.

NBA legend Magic Johnson took the time to shout out Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Tyrese Haliburton before they square off in the NBA Finals.

"I dreamt about (winning MVP) as a kid, but as a kid, it's a fake dream," Gilgeous-Alexander said during Wednesday's MVP acceptance speech.
