Footage from London’s Luton Airport showed engineers repairing a roughly 15-foot-by-10-foot section of the tarmac. The airport reopened on Monday evening after work was completed.

A blaze overnight led to a “partial structural collapse” at Car Park 2 at Luton, the fourth-largest airport serving London. By Wednesday morning, the fire was extinguished.
