Hundreds gathered in the Portuguese town of Gondomar to pay respects to Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, both professional soccer players.

As soccer player Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva were laid to rest in their hometown in Portugal, his Liverpool Football Club left a heartbreaking message at his grave. The brothers were buried after a funeral service on July 5.

In addition to the Liverpool FC team, figures from across the game, many from Porto and the Portugal national side, arrived to mourn together and pay tribute to two people who will be missed so much. Former Everton FC boss and current manager of Portugal, Roberto Martinez, was the first I saw arrive.
