A Presidents Day protest drew more than 1,000 people to downtown Portland, in one of the city’s largest demonstrations to date of the second Trump era, leaving police briefly scrambling to contain the crowd as it grew during a march across the Morrison and Hawthorne bridges.

Hundreds of people lined the street fronting the Hawaii State Capitol this Presidents Day to protest President Trump and his policies.This is the second rally in less than two weeks, and Monday’s rally drew an even larger crowd that continued to grow throughout the day.
