Ok, so it's not a "real' transparent hood. Instead, it uses a heads-up display that projects a view from under the front part of the vehicle so it looks as though you can see through the hood.
Here in the U.S., we’d call it (and Land Rover USA does, too) a Transparent Hood. But that unassuming name doesn’t quite convey the simple brilliance and complex technology behind it.
For now, the transparent hood remains a concept that could make it into a production car in the future. But, of corse, so were the park assist and lane assist features a few years back.
