Jackisha Bayard, a 21-year-old Miami woman, was shot and killed by her boyfriend outside her home Friday morning, police say. Gregory Brown Jr. later turned himself in.

According to Miami Police, Jackisha Bayard was shot in the chest, near Northwest 39th Street and North Miami Avenue, by her boyfriend, just before 9 a.m.

Officers arrived at the scene near Northwest 38th Avenue and 1st Street shortly after 7:30 a.m. where the victim, 21-year-old Jackisha Bayard, was found shot in the chest and was unresponsive.

The 21-year-old woman, identified as Jackisha Bayard, was shot multiple times, including in the chest. Bayard then ran back into her home and collapsed. Gregory Brown was in jail on Friday night.
