Before the players even encounter the Displacer Beast, create a buildup, describing strange tracks, missing NPCs, or eerie silence in the area they are traveling through.

We already knew that a displacer beast would appear in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves thanks to some early CinemaCon footage, but the other three monsters are brand new.
