Owen Tippett scored a game-winning shootout tally Thursday night to give the Flyers a 4-3 decision over the Lightning at the Wells Fargo Center. Finally, John Tortorella’s club could celebrate again.

With 16 games left in the regular season, the Carolina Hurricanes are clicking on all cylinders. The surging Hurricanes will go for their seventh straight win Saturday when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers.

It took until the shootout, but the Flyers held on and pulled through to finally snap their five-game losing streak.
