It's unlikely Nintendo caught wind of a PS1 Mini releasing this holiday, but certainly now that it's announced, they'll probably be happy they had to delay the N64 Classic.

Unfortunately, Nintendo didn't create enough of the NES Classic Edition to satisfy demand. Resultantly, the market for the console has been dominated by re-sellers and, now, knockoffs.
