The high sugar content may not come as a surprise, as each tasty Creme Egg has a whopping 26.5g of sugar - making a huge chunk of the recommended daily limit of 30g of free sugars.
A Creme Egg contains more than 6.5 teaspoons of total sugar, 6g of fat and more than 170 calories per egg. Customers have taken to social media after noticing the sugar content of the small treats.
