By Mia Galuppo Film Writer After a yearlong search, Boulder, Colorado, landed the winning bid to host the Sundance Film Festival starting in 2027, with the official announcement dropping on March 27.

The long-running movie exhibition, which was previously based in Park City, Utah, has chosen Boulder, Colorado, as its new host city, the Sundance Institute's Board of Trustees announced Thursday.
