Gusty winds helped keep dozens of brightly colored kites flying high Saturday during the annual ABC Kite Fest at Zilker Park.

The Friends of India Society is gearing up to host its annual festival at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds on June 14.

Kite contests, foodie delights, and a spectacle of color against the Austin skyline. The ABC Kite Fest returns in April with free fun for the family.
