Coco Gauff continued her impressive run in the European clay season as she advanced to the quarterfinals at the 2025 French Open. The American survived a topsy-turvy second set to beat Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-0, 7-5 in the fourth round on Monday. Gauff's best finish at the French Open came in 2022, when she reached the finals.

Her parents, Corey and Candi Gauff, both former collegiate athletes, left their careers to support her tennis dreams. Corey played college basketball at Georgia State University and Candi was a track and field athlete at Florida State, according to PEOPLE Magazine.
