Just days into her first post-dry-dock cruise, Carnival Spirit does not have fresh water onboard. How is this being handled?

Cruise ships have very strict rules about what you can bring onboard. In some cases, that's a question of safety. You can't pack a gun, hunting knife, or anything else that would count as a weapon.
