The confectionary company, Cadbury, says it's made the world's largest Creme Egg - about as tall as a USPS mailbox. NPR's Scott Simon talks to chocolatier Dawn Jenks about the creation.
As the name implies, several Cadbury Creme Eggs were placed on top the sandwich bread and toasted on the outside to melt the chocolate. However, the dessert was only available in the U.K. in 2023.
A Cadbury Creme Egg has become somewhat of a "family heirloom" for 53-year-old Ainslie Peters. The unopened confection, which the Ireland-based woman keeps on display, recently turned 50 years old.
