MIDC is also expecting two more mega projects at Butibori. This includes a unit by Innovative Textiles, which plans an investment of Rs150 crore and create 500 jobs.

MIDC is expanding the Butibori estate by another 1,570 hectares with the case being processed on fast track. But it got stuck up due to the Government Press rules.

Buoyed by the successful wooing of Ceat Tyres to Butibori, Maharashtra Industries Development Corporation (MIDC) plans to prefer mega projects for this industrial estate now.
