From sharing “owl-tastic” memes to crafting “eagle-eyed” word puns, the American Eagle Foundation is encouraging the community to make the best use of “F-Owl Language” in their new camp… ...

Eurasian eagle-owls are one of the larger owl species with a wingspan greater than 6 feet (180 centimeters), and have mottled brown and black feathers with distinctive ear tufts.

The Eurasian eagle owl looks similar to horned owls. They weigh between 3 ½ and 9 ¼ pounds, with a wingspan of about 5 to 6 ½ feet, according to the Denver Zoo.

In honor of American Eagle Day on June 20, the American Eagle Foundation is launching the initiative that it hopes will take flight, both symbolically and literally: the F-Owl Language Campaign.
