South Korean DJ Koo marked his third wedding anniversary with the late actress Barbie Hsu on Feb. 8, posting the Korean phrase "Love you forever" and tagging her Instagram account.

South Korean singer Koo Jun-yup has paid tribute to his late wife Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu who died earlier this week, saying his "angel went back to heaven". In a post on Instagram, Koo added that he was going through "indescribable grief" and a time of "gut-wrenching pain".

Barbie Hsu’s husband, DJ Koo, has broken his silence as he grieves his wife's untimely death. The South Korean rapper and former member of dance duo Clon posted a statement on Instagram in both Chinese and Korean. “My angel went back to heaven on February 2, 2025,” DJ Koo, whose real name is Koo Jun Yup said, according to a translation.

A photograph showcasing the final moments of happiness between the late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu and her husband, South Korean musician DJ Koo, was shared by a friend of the couple.

Eyewitnesses at Hsu's cremation described Koo as inconsolable. He was reportedly seen in tears as he carried his wife's urn home.

On February 5, Hsu's husband, Koo Jun Yup also known as DJ Koo, broke his silence about his wife's passing. In an Instagram post, the South Korean singer shared a black photo with a heartfelt message* to Hsu's supporters.
