BYU made a drastic defensive improvement from Year 1 to Year 2 in the Big 12. After giving up nearly 30 points and 420 yards of offense per game in 2023, those numbers dropped to 19.6 points and 309 yards allowed on defense in 2024. The one-time Mountain View High standout and business executive in Utah County will return to his alma mater as a senior associate athletic director, the school announced.

“A lot is a word to describe it,” Dybantsa said of his summer during a Monday appearance on ‘BYU Sports Nation. “I’ve been to like four or five countries in like two months. It’s been a lot of traveling, but I’m glad to be back.”
