The Atlanta Braves demoting Matt Tuiasosopo from third base coach duties isn't shocking, but his replacement being Fredi Gonzalez is.

"We need to look for every area that we can get better," Braves president of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos said.

The struggling Atlanta Braves are bringing back former manager Fredi Gonzalez as acting third base coach. The team announced Monday that Matt Tuiasosopo, the previous third base coach, has accepted a role as minor league infield coordinator.
