The Celtics have begun their pivot after a disappointing end to their season. They traded Jrue Holiday to the Trail Blazers in exchange for Anfernee Simons and two second-round picks, according to ESPN .

The Portland Trail Blazers have ended Anfernee Simons ’ seven-year run with the franchise by trading him to the Boston Celtics for Jrue Holiday. ESPN’s Shams Charania first reported the news. Simons, 26, averaged 19.3 points and 4.8 assists last season while struggling to adapt to being the starting point guard.

In this projected lineup, Boston would play two big man together with Kornet at the five and Porzingis as a four that can shoot from deep. Porzingis originally was drafted as a power forward and played that position for the Knicks. Kornet has shown promise in key minutes for the Celtics and could take on a larger role.
