A school in Madhya Pradesh's Damoh has run into controversy for allegedly forcing students, who are not Muslims, to sing Urdu poet Allama Iqbal's penned verses.

So Khalid Nadeem decided to compile and annotate all of Iqbal’s Urdu prose, except for three works: Iqbal’s letters, his book Ilm-ul-Iqtesaad and Tareekh-i-Tasavvuf.

Allama Iqbal gave the Muslims of the subcontinent political backing through his speech. He woke up the nation from the dream of neglect and awakened the spirit to decide their destiny, she added.
