Alhambra was originally a fortress, and the Alcazaba is its oldest part. Climb to the Torre de la Vela, and you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the city and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

We knew also that, on March 31, 1492, in the Alhambra’s resplendent Hall of the Ambassadors, Ferdinand and Isabella signed an edict, the Alhambra Decree, expelling the Jews from Spain.

The gym venue is for over-18s only but The Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples is hosting an Alhambra pattern drawing class and ice-cream social at 4pm for children ages 3 - 10, and parents.
