The American Research Group's June 17–20 poll, conducted among 1,100 adults, recorded Trump's net approval plunging to -21 points, with only 38 percent approving and 59 percent disapproving, down from -14 points in its previous May survey.

An average of recent polling from the New York Times shows Trump's approval rating is 44%, as of Thursday, July 2, with 52% disapproving of his job performance. That's basically the same as his ratings all of May and June, with the Times' average approval swaying between 44% and 46%.

While Trump’s job performance remains underwater this week in the poll, his approval numbers rose 2 percentage points from last week while his disapproval ticked 1 percentage point lower, the poll found.
