The Voodoo 5 6000 was 3DFX’s final GPU design before the company was sold to Nvidia. According to Wikipedia, there were a little over 100 of the experimental graphics cards created in 2000.

But the Voodoo 2 was the last of its era - the competition was busy making 2D/3D combo cards, such as Nvidia's Riva TNT, and 3dfx later fully joined the club with its Voodoo3.

Developed at a time when 3dfx was facing increasing competition from the likes of NVIDIA and ATI, the Voodoo 5 6000 would have been a last-ditch effort to compete at the high-end of the gaming market.
