BIRMINGHAM (IANS)- The India vs. Pakistan clash at the ongoing World Championship of Legends (WCL) has been officially called off. The decision follows strong objections from Indian players and a principal tournament sponsor, leading to an apology from organizers for “hurting sentiments” and “causing discomfort” to the Indian legends.

The World Champions of Legends (WCL) sources on Monday informed that the organisers of the competition have conveyed to England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) that they were unable to conduct the match and there is no fault of the Indian team in this.

Now that the WCL (World Championship of Legends) game between India and Pakistan at Birmingham on Sunday has been called off, it gives all parties a breather to decide on the fate of future cricket clashes between the two archrivals. However, the million-dollar question is: do we really want to arrive at a solution?
