TAMPA -- Marco Kasper scored his second goal of the game at 3:22 of overtime, giving the Detroit Red Wings a 4-3 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena on Friday. Following a Tampa Bay turnover in the neutral zone, Kasper carried the puck into the left face-off circle and won it with a wrist shot to the far post.

The window has not completely shut on the Detroit Red Wings' playoff chances, but the gap to the windowsill is shrinking fast and about to be latched.
