Twelve protesters were charged on Thursday with felony vandalism for their actions during a June 2024 pro-Palestinian protest at Stanford University in which demonstrators barricaded themselves inside the office of the school president.

A dozen pro-Palestinian demonstrators who were arrested at Stanford University last year after they occupied and allegedly caused hundreds of thousands in damage to a campus building are now facing charges.

Felony charges have been filed against 12 pro-Palestinian protesters allegedly involved in vandalism at Stanford. The charges are among the most serious faced by those involved in campus protests last year.
