Russell Westbrook reportedly is entering free agency for the third consecutive offseason after opting out of his contract with the Denver Nuggets.

Russell Westbrook is set to hit the free agent market after choosing to decline his player option with the Denver Nuggets next season, according to Marc Stein. Westbrook, 36, will be an unrestricted free agent on June 30 as he looks for his fourth team in as many seasons.

Russell Westbrook will not be exercising his $3.5 million player option with the Nuggets for next season and will instead become a free agent.
