It's been confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be launching without some fan favorite game modes. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is one of the most-hyped new Call of Duty games in years. Developer Treyarch has a ton of goodwill with franchise fans, and so many are looking forward to the next installment in the long-running series.

However, during the most recent episode of the Call of Duty Podcast, it was revealed that the Nuketown we all know and love will be added as a post-launch map. It was also explained that Warhead is located close to Nuketown, explaining the similar houses and setting between the two.

Treyarch confirmed the addition of Nuketown in Black Ops 6 with a post on X. “Bring your sunscreen,” the post is captioned. It also features an image shot from the perspective inside of a house on Nuketown, with a mannequin visible in frame. An explosion can be seen in the distance, potentially teasing the eponymous nuke.
