Rebirth, the new blockbuster film, is shattering records at the worldwide box office. Starring Mahershala Ali and Scarlett Johansson, and directed by Gareth Edwards, the science fiction extravaganza has turned out to be an enormous crowd-puller.

Superman” continues to rule the worldwide box office, powering to $406 million after two weekends of release. Those ticket sales include $171.8 million overseas and $235 million from the North American market.

Superman retained the No. 1 spot at the domestic box office in its second weekend, pulling in an estimated $57.25 million from 4,275 theaters, bringing its domestic total to more than $235 million. The James Gunn-directed reboot has now grossed more than $406.
