As the University of Idaho murders case comes to a conclusion, victims and families address the impact of the media throughout the three-year investigation.
The judge sentenced Kohberger to 10 years, fixed on one count of burglary and a $50,000 fine. On counts two through five, he was sentenced to four consecutive sentences, fixed without the possibility of parole, along with a $50,000 fine for each victim. He was also fined $5,000 to each of the victim’s families.
