The big question on the tips of many political watchers’ tongues right now is whether the Trump administration’s botched handling of the Epstein files will do what virtually nothing has yet: turn President Donald Trump’s devoted base against him.

"If anything, Donald Trump's approval rating has gone up since this whole Epstein saga started," CNN's Harry Enten said Thursday. "He is at the apex or close in terms of his popularity with Republican voters.

The poll, conducted July 10–14 among 1,290 registered voters nationwide, shows that 63% disapprove of how the administration handled the Epstein files, which were closed by the Justice Department earlier this month without releasing additional documents.

A new poll has found that 55 percent of respondents disapprove of President Donald Trump's job performance, while 41 percent approve.
