Pennsylvania State University has begun an evaluation to determine which of its branch campuses it will close in the next two years.

Penn State University says it must close a number of its branch campuses across the commonwealth, but it won’t know which ones will close until the end of the current semester.

We have exhausted reasonable alternatives to maintain the current number of campuses,” President Neeli Bendapudi wrote in a statement.
