Before the Fleet's largest home crowd of the season, Boston reached overtime and had a prime scoring chance just seconds prior to Montreal's winner.

Two upcoming Fleet games at Boston University’s Agganis Arena are part of that effort to gather audience data and reach new fans — but they could also be a look into Boston’s future.

The Boston Fleet of the Professional Women’s Hockey League played its first game at Agganis Arena Saturday. The game marked the Fleet’s largest attendance of the year with 5,968 fans. The Fleet fell to the Montréal Victoire 3-2 in overtime. The team will be back at Agganis Arena Wednesday, March 26.

Fans packed into Agganis Arena on Saturday afternoon to see the Boston Fleet take on the Montreal Victoire. In a physical, close matchup the Victoire came out victorious, winning 3-2 in overtime.
