Vaughn joined Warner/Chappell as executive vice president in 2012 after a run at EMI. Just 41, Vaughn, a Belmont graduate, first ran a music publishing company at age 20.
In early 2010, Vaughn became the youngest executive to head a major publisher in Music City, running EMI Publishing’s Country unit until the company's acquisition by Sony/ATV in June.
