Google is still waiting to hear how it will have to address its monopoly in the search engine business — it plans to appeal the judgement — but in the meantime, it also has to answer to its shareholders.

The Financial Times reports that parent company Alphabet has proposed to spend $500 million over 10 years altering its compliance structure, in a bid to satisfy shareholders who’d sued over the company’s repeated exposure to antitrust investigations.
