With New England Patriots’ 2025 training camp nearing, a blockbuster trade for Washington Commanders’ star Terry McLaurin is on the cards. Snagging the wide receiver would transform their offense by pairing him with Stefon Diggs.

Wide receiver Terry McLaurin, drafted by Washington in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, aired his frustration over his hopes for a contract extension with the team. He signed a three-year extension with the Commanders ahead of the 2022 season, but under the terms of that contract, the 2026 season is a “void” year for him.
