Penn Township is a township in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States, established on October 23, 1860, from Upper Dickinson Township. The population was 2,924 at the 2010 census. Penn Township is in west-central Cumberland County. The northern two-third of the township is in the Cumberland Valley, while the southern third extends up the slopes of South Mountain. Yellow Breeches Creek, a tributary of the Susquehanna River, flows from west to east across the center of the township.
