There is no internet aside from WiFi at cabins or at the Seagull headquarters. There is no cell phone reception either so if you’re concerned about calling for help if something goes wrong, you’ll need a sat phone. I rented a sat phone on an 80 mile solo trip through the BWCAW and even that didn’t work. This is a VERY remote area and a place one goes to to unplug. There are some nice spots in Grand Marais if the trappings of civilization are required.
