Beautiful view from the beach but not very clean. Recommend to look at the beach from the Grant Hyatt resort instead for a more comfortable and luxurious experience Full review by Radhika A

A nice hiking trail, and rugged cliffs, made for some nice photos. A couple was getting married at the end of the beach. Restrooms and free parking. Full review by maitaimike2015

I understand there is limited parking and everyone seems to advise to arrive early. We are driving to Waimea Canyon in the early morning on a Wednesday and was hoping to stop at Shipwreck Beach and walk a short ways on the trail in the afternoon on our way back to Lihue. Is parking still going to be an issue later in the day?

I wish I could answer that question. Parking is always a concern and I don’t know what other events might be happening in that area, around that time! Have fun

Poipu beach. We saw a ton of fish at this beach. They were swimming all around us and we didn’t have to go out far at all to see them.

Exactly how do you get to Shipwreck beach
A:
Drive past the Hyatt and take the road to the right between the Hyatt and the golf course. Shipwreck Beach parking lot is at the end.
